- to identify, recognize and promote national and international Traditional Specialty Guaranteed (TSG) products in the regions, provinces or Italian communities, with a special register;
- to devise and coordinate promotional initiatives on the Italian motor sport industry, on its history and on its economic and technological background;
- to sign and promote framework agreements with international, national, regional and provincial bodies and organizations to undertake joint project initiatives;
- to promote the development of territories and research, always focusing on the issues of safety and environmental protection.
The Web Museum
The Motor Web Museum was founded in June 2017. It is a large virtual and interactive museum designed by the City of Motors National Network and dedicated to the Italian motoring tradition. Since 2007, Mandello del Lario has been a member of the City of Motors Circuit, of which former mayor Riccardo Mariani has been president.Since June 2015, the delegate Franco Patrignani and his group of friends and enthusiasts have carried out a variety of initiatives related to the Moto Guzzi world. In 2016 and in 2017, at the local Movie Theater "Fabrizio De Andrè", there was a screening of all the episodes of “Lord of the Bikes”. The event was enriched by the presence of illustrious guests, stories, images and testimonies, as well as an exhibition of customized Moto Guzzi motorbikes "created" by local fans.
